Course Description: This course is designed for those who are interested in teaching a permit-required confined space awareness-level course to employees and other interested groups. Course participants learn application of standards, as well as effective instructional approaches and the successful use of visual aids and handouts.
This Trainer Course in Permit-Required Confined Spaces is recommended for inspectors, auditors, safety and health professionals and those personnel responsible for writing, auditing or training employees with an active role in permit space entry.
Describe Adult Learning Needs
Prepare and deliver a presentation using effective delivery techniques
Discuss the requirements and interpretations for permit-required confined space entry
Discuss the general training requirements of the permit space standard
Effectively conduct permit space training in accordance with the OSHA's Permit-Required Confined Space standard 29 CFR 1910.146
